Butter Icing
Hardware
- Hand mixer (egg beater) or standing mixer
 
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
 - 2 cups confectioner's sugar, sifted
 - 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
 - 2 Tbsp milk
 
Procedure
- Cream butter with the mixer until smooth and fluffy.
 - Gradually beat in confectioner's sugar until incorporated
 - Beat in vanilla extract
 - Add milk and beat 3 to 4 minutes
